Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is doing fine!?!

It was a beautiful and hot weekend and of course I got some time in the saddle...

On Friday we went for a little ride from Vancouver to Pemberton and visited The Beer Farmers for some hydration. If you ever get to Pemberton, check them out. Here's the link to their website https://www.thebeerfarmers.com

They are rebuilding their patio right now and due to the pandemic it's all a bit weird, but we were able to buy some cans filled with amazing beer, could self distance on the patio and enjoy a cold beverage and have some great chats. This place is beautiful and I could sit there the whole day!

Just before coming to Squamish we stopped for a little stretch and had a great view on to the Shannon Falls. And this time of the year they have lots of water, just beautiful.

Next stop was Pemberton at the farm...

Funny side story: a fellow Valkyrie rider was asking for a DigiSync in a Facebook group. I told him that he could have mine, use it on his bike, then I would come to his place in Pemberton, we sync the carbs on my bike together and I take the DigiSync back. He is living in the valley in Pemberton and told me about the brewery, that's how I know that place, hehe.

So that was the warm up for the following ride the next day!
I just call it "the extended Duffey Lake Loop"

We started with a group of 12 bikes and we already knew that not everybody would join us for the complete loop. Pic at Manning Park...

After a fuel stop in Princeton the group split up and only 6 of us kept on for the whole loop.

Quick stop before Osoyoos

Along Highway 97c we stopped for a breathtaking view of the Highland Valley Copper Tailings Storage Facility. It is huuuuuuge!

I like to ride Valerie without a windshield these days, it got a little nasty

View of Lillooet

Next stop was Duffey Lake

It was a time well spent on the bike on these 2 days with a total of almost 1600km, temperatures ranging from 6 to 31 degrees, some amazing views and smiles so big..... that's the kind of rides I like!!!

Have a great week everyone!

I like living vicariously through your ride reports Christian!   cooldude  You take great photos. you and Mike really do well showing why we like to ride out of town!

That bear at Manning Park though looks like he's got the sign rammed up his A**!  Shocked

You have confirmed for me though, I do like my windshield!! that's quit the bug collection.

Nice.. I love doing that loop. Done it many times.
97-C is incredible.
The last time we had the pleasure of doing it...

Let’s just say it was a Long, Long Day because we started & ended from our modest little home just north of Seattle.

Love Me some Manning Park too.

Can’t be too soon to have the opportunity to run it again.
