Hillbilly Highway Ride got a few folks from out of state coming to my hometown of Clinton Tennessee to take a ride to the ride with the cool kids . Red Roof Inn , Super 8 will be the most affordable at the Clinton / Norris exit# 122 off I-75 . Other nicer motels at this exit as well. Talked to the local steakhouse this evening they are open for business. My wife will be designated driver for anyone wanting to join us for supper Thursday evening the 21st so you can enjoy a adult beverage and not get back on a motorcycle. Let me know if you plan to join us.

I would not point you wrong  Wink

Probably best bet to hook up  would be Shady Valley on The Snake. The store was closed a few weeks ago and for sale. Not sure if it's open now.

That is a shame, the new owners ruined a real cool, once thriving, motorcycle place.

The route I picked, which google says takes a total of about seven hours, goes near there.
Trying to meet up there without someone having to wait three hours  Wink might be hard
for me...  if y'all had a vague idea of when you might be there, I might go there and
hang out a few minutes just in case, but I wouldn't want to make a plan where anyone
was there waiting on me...

As of now, the only thing certain is, we need to be out of our airbnb at noon on Friday .  I'll try to nail things down next week, what time woul work to meet up at country store?  I can make plans to be there and not have anyone waiting around.

Looking at the map, if we meet at the country store it is only an hour or so to Marion.  Depending on the weather, we may just head straight to Marion, but will discuss it with the rest of our group and get back to you later.

I know an hour can become 4 if you plan your route correctly, where are you heading from country store into Marion?

I'm bettin' 133 toward Damascus
and on that note, if ya get the chance while playin' in that end of the world you should really run 58 outta Damascus east to Mouth of Wilson. Outstanding piece of street!
Y'all have fun and ride safe. Hate to miss this one cooldude

133 to US 58 to SR 16 would be my choice to go from Shady Valley to Marion

I made it to Binkies in Vonore and enjoyed the Brinker hospitality for an evening, them on to Blue Ridge, Ga. Where I got to meet my new granddog for there first time.  Say hello to Bettsie.

I also reunited with Fritzie.
