Good deal.

But the brown shoe era was before my time.   Grin

do  you have regular footpegs to shift or heel/toe shifter?  My cobra bigger/flatter floorboards do not allow anything but a tennis shoe to go under the shifter.  I tried even thicker hicking boots only size 11 but extra wide and that will not work either to fit my shoe/boot under the shifter with the cobra floorboards

Adjust your shifter. I wear a 13 and have never had an issue with the way the shifter came from mother HONDA. I think maybe you are just used to what you do.
I for one wouldnt ride to the mailbox wearing a tennis shoe. EVER!!
Very easy to do losen that one 10mm bolt and move the peg up about 2-3 notches. Just that simple. Am sure it would only take you about 5 minutes after you find your 10 mm socket.

I wear 9EEE, on a standard footpeg and shifter. I got the duckfeet from my dad (8EEE). I don't expect any trouble shifting - I WILL get out tomorrow or Sunday to try them out. They are lined well enough that it doesn't bother me to use ankle socks - guess that's a good sign.

Exactly.....I have size 11.5 , and when I added the Cobra floorboards  many years ago it was never an issue  finding a shifter position that would work with what I was wearing at the time . I've worn Alpinestar MC boots for years....fully waterproof and insulated, shifter pad on the top, tough as heck, and best of all comfortable to walk around or even hike in all day so it eliminates the need to carry an extra  pair of shoes on longer rides. Couldn't imagine ever wearing running shoes , but that's just me.

I bought  a good pair of military issue jump boots , the old style. I waterproofed them and love the fit. I only use them for riding. I have other work boots.  I also use a long bootlace to tie my pants leg around my boot (blousing for the military) to keep the wind and bugs out of the legs and you know where else.

Same here, I have adjusted shifter but have to use outside edge of shifter to shift.
