When it comes to this kind of endeavor I always take some pics of the entire project prior to taking it apart. I did so with my cell and sent it(I thought) to my printer, the idea was to print them out for future reference. I've done that with other pics in the past with no issue, this time....apparently total failure. Ain't these electronic marvels wonderful?  Angry  As a result, I don't have it on my cell nor is it anywhere to be found within the workings of the printer. Now I'm to the point where I'm ready to start reassembly and I'd like to have a few pics of the complete set intact taken from both top and bottom so I can tell where the various springs and the air & fuel tubes go. I think(?) I can tell but every time I try something it simply doesn't go together. If anyone has some legible pics of both top and bottom of an assembled set I'd be grateful if you would share. Send to my email direct, at least they won't disappear in thin air....I hope.

To better understand my problem, this set of carbs is a loaner....not the set removed from my bike. The idea was to rebuild this set and swap out with mine and give them back to the person that gave me the loaner set. Problem is....there were no hoses attached which makes it a bit of a problem for me since the loss of the pictures I took that would help me determine what tubes go where. I may end up having to go ahead and pull my carb set afterall and use it as a pattern, something I didn't want to do before I was ready to make the swap. That would allow me to continue to use the bike until that day.

Next time I'll use my camera for pics and download them directly to the computer, then print. Still irritated over it but.....

Serk, I'm so dense sometimes. I just now noticed there's 12 separate pictures in your link. DUH! I think they will do the trick, I've printed out 4 for reference tomorrow. Thanks for the help. think I best go to bed after this....

2funny Yeah, I hear ya. In this case the loaner was trustworthy....my electronic marvel wasn't. I think the pics will do the trick from the link Serk gave. I'm ready to assemble the left bank while the right side is soaking, but I was going nuts cuz I couldn't find the prints I thought I'd requested/saved so just had to quit until some questions were answered. Had a nice nap though so not all was lost.  cooldude

Curious John, when you take photos, after you print, do you delete them?

Casey, you know TJ and I have been good friends for years, as a result we can throw digs at each other with good humor....especially the "old" issue since he's no spring chicken either.  Grin

Mellodude, no I don't delete. The link between my printer and cell is supposed to allow me to print directly from the cell and has a number of times in the past. For some reason, this time it neither printed or retained that file....why, I have no idea. Might be time for a replacement phone, this one has been showing some irritating quirks as of late, this being the last one. I've tested that function a couple times since and double chkd. settings, it doesn't work as in the past so have no idea what's going on but know it's messed up.

If you need more, and any close-up shots I’ll dig out my spare carbs that I rebuilt with all new everything.  I can get the pics of the springs or tubing that might be able to help you.

Pm me your email and what you need and I’ll take the pics...email is easier than editing the photo images to post in these threads.

Thanks for the offer 9ball, it's moving forward....slowly. This is kind of a tough week so not really into finishing just now. I'll give it a couple days and see how it goes, if I need more pics I'll make contact.  cooldude
