Has it been 5 years Tony ??  I wouldn't had guessed it had been that long !!
That is a good food stop, a damn good food stop....glad everyone enjoyed their time and meal.
They also rent rooms, phone reservations only....but very convenient to drink heavily and eat then stumble upstairs to crash !!!
Thanks for the pics Tony.....was a very enjoyable day gathering at The Moat.

Hey Terry, if you recall, The Moat was your idea to take the place of the end of the White Horse Press annual BBQ.  cooldude It was a great call and really cool to have lots of folks come. I think that was the last time I saw Hoy.   Cool

Yep, I remember you asking me if I knew of a / any good eateries in the North Conway area, seeing as White Horse Press was no longer holding their Open House & grub fest.....
It was a good showing of friends / family that day.....

Is Pekarski’s still in business?  Boy, I wish they mail ordered their kielbasa...love the garlic smell when I open the fridge.

Sorry for the hijack...

Yes, still in business.
I remember you talked it up last year so I stopped in there a couple weeks ago.
The smoked kielbasa was awesome and the thick sliced bacon really hit the spot.

They are indeed.  We were there today and got kielbasa,  smoked bacon,  lamb merguez,  breakfast sausage,  brats, andouille and some dogs.  We just did the lamb merguez over an open fire on toasted bread with harissa mayo.  Holy crap was it delicious

Had to look up "lamb merguez". Sounds delicious! Never been to Pekarski’s. It's about 1.5 hour drive from us. Based on the comments on this post and a look at their website, yeah, we're gonna have to make the trip sometime.  Cool
