Not a vaccine but other interesting/promising news https://www.foxnews.com/science/antibody-sars-patients-17-years-ago-particularly-inhibits-covid-19“ As the war against the coronavirus pandemic wages on, a new study has revealed that a person who recovered from SARS 17 years ago has an antibody that inhibits COVID-19. The antibody, known as S309, is "particularly potent" at targeting and disabling the spike protein in SARS-CoV-2, according to a statement from the University of Washington, which was involved in the research. The antibody is now being fast-tracked for development and testing at Vir Biotechnology. “Remarkably, we believe S309 likely covers the entire family of related coronaviruses, which suggests that, even as SARS-CoV-2 continues to evolve, it may be quite challenging for it to become resistant to the neutralizing activity of S309,” said Herbert “Skip” Virgin, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer of Vir, in a separate statement.”

The data sheet for one of the C19 antibody rapid tests states false positives may occur due to prior exposure to other coronaviruses, including SARS and MERS.

Here’s something intriguing regarding whether or not to get yourself vaccinated. https://www.theblaze.com/news/alan-dershowitz-says-the-state-has-every-right-to-plunge-a-needle-into-your-arm-and-forcibly-vaccinate-its-citizens“ Let me put it very clearly," Dershowitz said. "You have no constitutional right to endanger the public and spread the disease, even if you disagree. You have no right not to be vaccinated, you have no right not to wear a mask, you have no right to open up your business."” “ He continued, "[But] If you refuse to be vaccinated [for a contagious disease], the state has the power to literally take you to a doctor's office and plunge a needle into your arm." "You have no right to refuse to be vaccinated against a contagious disease," Dershowitz added. "Public health, the police power of the Constitution, gives the state the power to compel that. And there are cases in the United States Supreme Court." What else? Dershowitz explained that this is all part of living in a democratic society. "That's what a democracy is about," he said. "If the majority of the people agree and support that, for public health measures, you have to be vaccinated, you have to be vaccinated. They should give you an alternative. The alternative is to live in your home, don't get vaccinated, but never ever leave your home or live in a bubble. But if you want to interact with other people, you cannot become Typhoid Mary. The Constitution doesn't give you the right to spread your illness to other people."

Dershowitz is an academic who is full of it. The government only has what powers WE THE PEOPLE give it. He should know better.

I wouldn't expect that unless we were facing the outbreak of a highly contagious AND very deadly virus like smallpox. C19 may be extremely contagious, but isn't nearly as deadly. However I wouldn't be surprised to see restrictions on air travel, or attendance of densely packed indoor events. In such cases you might be required to show proof you've been vaccinated or tested positive for antibodies. That wouldn't be much of a stretch. States used to require blood tests to get a marriage license. Schools require immunization records for a kid to register. And travelers to some parts of the world must prove they've been vaccinated for certain diseases. My son worked in Nigeria for a few weeks and had to be vaccinated for Yellow Fever and some other nasty stuff. He even had to take an anti-malarial drug during and after his stay.

I can accept the requirements for international travel, because it is international. I cannot accept similar federal laws for interstate travel.
If I am not wrong, there is no federal law regarding mandatory vaccinations for US citizens and that is left up to the individual states. I could be wrong since I am not a lawyer or legal scholar.
I do not think the federal government will pass a law requiring that every US Citizen get a specific inoculation for a specific disease. For, if that happens, we will lose all rights as US Citizens. Just one step, and while I see many, many citizens every willing to accept a federal decree as "best for you". And yes it has happened.
Regarding attendance at concerts and sporting events, again, I do not see these events requiring specific immunity records to attend the event. No only is this an infringement on the rights of the citizens, large numbers of people will simply not attend. We can vote with our feet.
And yes, fear is an excellent weapon and we see it today...

I think all the school vaccine requirements are state laws. That's as it should be. State and local governments should handle public health, as one size cannot fit all. Imagine NY/NJ style restrictions nationwide. We've already seen significant travel restrictions at the state level. Many states required a 14 day quarantine for out of state visitors, though many are expiring. A woman in Hawaii was arrested for violating their law. States should be making these laws, just like they do for speed limits, alcohol sales, marijuana sales, etc. Only for interstate air travel should the feds get involved, as they already have (massively) with the TSA. Who knows what they'll come up with for C19. As far as densely packed public events, many are run by the private sector. They'll need to decide if they want more restrictions than the law requires. If the public views them as unsafe attendance will suffer. This is already being done to some degree. Stores require 'shirts and shoes', some restaurants require a coat and tie, minors can be banned from bars, and now I've seen some local stores mandating face coverings even though they're not legally required. In Colorado face coverings are a local government decision, which has led to a strange situation. A recent federal court ruling struck down local laws than banned women from being topless in public. So now in some localities, women can legally walk down the street topless, but must cover their nose and mouth!

Perhaps make a mask from the top part of the of the outfit. The top would still match.
