In all seriousness the news article below has a strong message in it. That message is CITIZENS BEWARE. The fight against our democracy is underway and the signs are there in plain view, but you must have your eyes open to see them. The Democrats have finally transitioned to open and outright Socialism and the growth of Communist party support is in the wings...lurking and waiting. They march openly and with some media coverage not denouncing them or criticizing them, but giving them airtime. Look how thing have gone in the last 4 months, they already have a good idea how to get us under control, how the passing of RULES (not laws) by governors has had great success in population control and when there wasn’t compliance the police were there for enforcement. LEO’s who opposed it were released from duty. Opposing points of view are removed as quickly as possible from social media and YouTube. If you believe The Constitution and the 2nd Amendment will help and protect us look how in just 3 months they’ve managed to get around it. LAWS are already on the books in every state which gave the power to governors to pass RULES, not laws, which had to be followed or else. Gun shops were deemed non-essential. Examples have been made of people violating a no work rule. People seeking public religious worship have been fined and arrested. Arrests have been made for violating a rule to stay off pubic property. Citizens are being encouraged to rat or snitch on a neighbor....and it’s working. Hang on tight folks this roller coaster ride is just beginning and it’s going to get wild. https://www.theblaze.com/news/video-security-drags-hong-kong-pro-democracyalready another impeachment is in the works for before the end of the year. https://www.theblaze.com/news/house-democrats-may-impeach-trump-againMay God Bless America, we’re certainly going to need it.

That’s why I don’t stay locked up at home. I don’t wear a mask. I carry EVERYWHERE and I won’t take their vaccine or tests unless I get sick. It’s sad but I don’t trust the government even more now than ever

I don't trust government either. But the President we voted for says this virus is an invisible enemy. He said it's a bad virus. He said, ".. it's a horrible plague". He said it's killing people all over the world. He said the initial travel bans and mitigation efforts have saved millions of American lives.
I guess he's just lying through his teeth.
I'm getting out and about, and doing whatI have to do. When I went to the body shop (lower traffic) yesterday I did not wear a mask. When I go to stores, I wear an n95. After I pump gas, I rub some Purell on my hands. My life, I could care less what you or others think. I don't care if you don't take any precautionss whatsoever. Your life.

Masks and social distancing were not the intended topic, but their place in society now are in question however the post was more on the lines of the over use of perceived powers of governors and elected officials. The abuse of power being exerted over the people with a small amount of pushback from the people. The acceptance (of many) of being mislead by those in office without question.

It continues to amaze me when seeing people driving alone in cars with a mask on.. what amazes me more are those that do exercise outside in a mask. It's astounding how many just follow along with wearing a muzzle like obedient sheep. I associate masks with sweat, blood and misery from all the years of doing construction work as a contractor. No bullsh*t, made up rules from a soft handed lying governor or media is going to change my mind on this. The virus goes through masks.. the virus is here to stay, like it or not, and one day we'll all be exposed to it. Stay healthy and strong and you have no worries. People with health issues should shelter in place as is practical.. My immune system is my own vaccine, collectively we need herd immunity to beat this down to a manageable problem, like we've done since showing up on the planet millions of years ago. This is just my personal take on it.. I don't mean to offend anyone, we must all do as we see fit.

I too am Very troubled at how Quickly the fine Americans knuckled under. I noticed this A M and in preceding days that we constantly are updated on the chinee devils brew death toll county state and country wide. Not Only local "news" but the national outlets as well. Sometimes the c19 B S IS the lead story. The scare tactics are even in my once a week local rag. What disturbs me a lot amongst other things is the updates on the new "testing" stations. Uh you 4 in the car pull over into slot 63 and our nice people will escort you to the showers. Or the inoculation building. Or pick a scenario. My home defense mechanism is ALWAYS at my finger tips-even if i ain't at home. Like we were taught in the U S N be ready and expect the unexpected. While I do Not fully trust the Gov of Missouri I find him a bit more believeable than others I've heard. And he is an R. Head on a swivel believe 1% of what you hear and 10% of what you see. Yer results ma vary! RIDE SAFE.

And that is the scariest observation of all. The weakness of our system is that everyone gets to vote. The resultant persons and direction do not have to be right, just what the bulk of the people have been convinced to believe. In recent years the term spin has become commonly used. It's not whether it's true that matters. It's mostly just how one is able to "spin" it.

The weakness of our system is that everyone every legally entitled person over the age of 18 gets to vote.
Fixed that. Conversely it's also a great strength of our system. It worked out pretty well in 2016. IMHO. I don't think I was buffaloed by the media when I cast my vote then. It doesn't appear that I was.

Many people seem to just believe the MSM.. don't really know why, maybe it's easier than thinking or looking at more of the picture. Spin is pervasive it seems, and we all do it to a degree, truth becomes a million shades of gray. I have my 'take' on things.. however I don't want to live in an echo chamber, so I make some forays into the 'dark side' Haha..

new jersey cops are bought and paid for. they will do what they are told and don't care about the USC, they do not want to give up their high end life styles off the backs of tax paying citizens. NJ cops are highest paid in the country. the murph has his loyal police state storm troopers. https://www.nj.com/news/2016/03/who_are_the_highest-paid_police_chiefs_in_nj.html#0N.J. police chiefs who make more than $200K New Jersey is the most generous state in the nation when it comes to police pay, with a median salary of $92,250, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. By extension, municipal police chiefs are extraordinarily well compensated. An analysis of state pension data from earlier this year shows two dozen chiefs make more than $200,000 annually. Several deputy chiefs and captains also make it into the $200K club. The analysis does not include county chiefs, sheriffs or campus police chiefs. middle level cops make 125-160k/yr in NJ in my town there is a supervisor that lives in another town and county in a 470k house to avoid the high property taxes that pay his salary and pension. Their pensions are almost what they make while they are working all thanks to the police unions and politicians. I met a young officer 5 yrs on the force in my town and he was from another state, said he was here for the pay and benefits and when he retires he is moving back home. many nj town cops each get their own patrol car which they commute with to and from work, my taxes paying for that. I saw one cop that lives over 45 minutes away, again in another county. my tax dollars pay for his gas to and from work. and please don't say well its a dangerous job, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has never listed cops in the top 10 of most dangerous jobs.
