It's a tube on the side of each carb with nothing attached. What's it for? I looked and the parts breakdown shows it on both Cali and other models....I thought possibly it was a California version. It's on the side opposite the air cut valve, it's not the overflow/air passage....so what the heck does it do? After the cleaning bath and rinsing, I hit everything with an air hose...checking passages along the way. If I hit this with the air, I can hear air blowing slightly inside somewhere, but still have no idea what it does.

Carbs from Europe. Don't know but think they had some other set up on the carbs that we do not have here in the USA. Don't know if plug them or what. New one on me.

that is the tube for your nitro  injection connection.
