I'm hoping to get a house/dog sitter for this event. A little out time wise but giving it a serious thought.

Yes.  We haven't regularly maintained the state reps listing.  Hoosier Daddy is still listed for Indiana.  Fudgie was the rep for a NE Indiana chapter.  There is still a link to the Indiana chapter message board but it hasn't been active for over fifteen years.

At one time there was an attempt to have an Indiana Chapter, but I guess we Hoosiers just aren't very sociable. Sad
There were a few attempts at having wrench parties which were pretty much a bust. Fudgie had 1 or 2 "Resevoir Rides" that didn't fare much better. Solo 1 tried to have a backyard cookout and around 5 people showed up and at least 2 were not from Indiana.
About the only thing that had any kind of attendance was the CBR in the early days.
I guess the DRU does pretty well, but I have never been to one.

OK, will try that.  I am not very enthusiastic about FB so, I'll just post it here.
Made a reservation for the 18th, can only stay one evening.   Would have preferred the 19th but, no rooms available and I have somewhere else I need to get to.   Will stick around on the morning of the 19th as long as possible but have to hit the road before noon.   I have a long way to go and a short time to get there...….

Regardless, looking forward to seeing everyone even though I won't be able to go on the ride.

I rode out to Rockville, IN. a couple of times for a bike show. Met several members of the Indiana Chapter. Had a nice time, but that has been quite a few years ago.

I tried to do a ride right after I got the crown from Fudgie. I had more people from other states show up then did from Indiana. Hell Big D and Little d came out from NY. Just wasn't much interest so I gave up. I'm up for doing something again but not going to waste my time if no interest.

Actually, I asked about that sign up page to see who else was going.
Tried Facebook and was not successful at finding anything other than Steve's DRU event but nothing else.  I don't pretend to know FB very well.   I'll just show up and see who's there.

Spent some time this morning on FB.   I don't consider it to be user friendly but, I finally found that list of who is planning on attending the DRU.   Looking forward to seeing many old friends and making some new ones.

Bump for a great event.
