has anyone removed any of the baffles from their OEM pipes for a tweaked sound versus installing the very loud 6 to 6 Cobras

Many have punched them out. Sounds like poopoo to me. Have a set of glasspacks made.

They drill 'em or some do the more dramatic "Ragnar cut".   It's eardrum abuse and I'd advise against it.  There's this dreaded drone that arises.  Having ridden some miles with cut and drilled pipes, I couldn't wait to get them off and some stockers back on!   I've also experimented with Two Brothers six into six.  Fun at times, but pretty much too much!

thanks all, I think you have reminded me of the loud noise that abused my ears when I had the Cobras on years ago - I will stay with the OEMs

Mine were drilled and the pigs were hacked off when I got her.. sounded like chit.. So, I ordered some pigs from Mark T., put em on and now I'm smoooth, quiet and fast.. aaaaaaahhhhhhh...
