Wow that’s some crazy stuff, glad nobody was hurt. Can’t imagine just watching as your home and neighbors homes wash out to sea. Talk about despair and helplessness.

It was amazing to watch the houses coming back towards shore as the water rushed in to fill the displaces soil.
How does one handle property rights when things get moved around like this?

Actually, I was a bit surprised at how well a couple of those houses did float. Especially that larger White one....it came all the way back to shore fully intact in the back eddy. Owner could've ran down to try and salvage a few items  Would be sureal for sure, standing up there and watching your whole neighborhood slide into the sea like that.
