Two other guys wrote and directed it, but Moore is a backer...
I just watched it, I think it has a lot of good information

...
it is the opinion of the two guys that made it that we're "destroying
the planet" with our "industrial civilization" (that feeds and enriches
millions

) but it sure does show a lot of the fallacies of
the "green" movement.
I enjoyed the part about biomass fuel = burning trees. The only trees
I saw being cut down in the film were 500 year old virgin rainforest trees.
The biomass trees come from planted forests that were planted by
farmers to be harvested and used for whatever purposes their buyers
wanted to use them for. Much of the Southern Pine in use today is
grown on old cotton fields (or other crops) and much of the rest of it
is what came up from numerous previous clear-cuts from the past
150 years.
The whole time I was watching it I was waiting for them to address
the real "green energy": nuclear. They never mentioned it I don't
think. I was imagining lots of new nuke plants running giant
desalination to solve all the clean water problems and generate
power...
It was hard to watch the whole cows being ground up for
"animal fat biomass" and the two monkeys in the last
tree in the forest they ended with was pretty manipulative...
