There was another big event in the Pacific Theatre at the sametime. IF I remember correctly, it also incorporated the Great Marianas Turkey Shoot.

I watched the vets being interviewed, it was interesting, great. A couple of them even parachuted and one was 98 yrs young and he did good. I think they really are from our greatest generation.
