Looking at all the cheaper options that looked like the one I've returned I bit the bullet and paid for the UpLula.
Thanks for the recommendations.

Loading the first magazine might feel a little awkward and difficult but after you get the hang of it you will wonder how you ever did without it.

You get what you pay for (in this case).

And what Dave Ritsema said is correct. It takes a little time to get use to it. But once you start using it, it is quick and easy.

Here's mine. It's almost always right at hand. Pretty cheap too. (I do have some 28 rd .45acp's that become a pain in the thumb around 22.)

+1 more for the Uplula. Best thing ever for arthritic hands. I use for 9mm and .45. Works fine without their advertised adapter for single stack for my 1911's.

FWIW....as you hold the Uplula in your right hand and feed ammo with your left...there is a little locking tab at the base of your right thumb on the left side of the loader that locks the device in the down position. IF you are unaware, while loading and depressing the loader down to insert a round, you MAY engage the locking tab in the down position and it won't pop back up to load the next round. "At least from what I've read in magazines......." NO first hadn't knowledge of course.......

Uplula. Fast, reliable, and fits a bunch of mags.

I’ve had an Uplula loader for almost 15 years. Ya that locking tab will have you scratching your head. I hold the mag and Uplula in my week hand against my lower sternum/ belly. Feed with strong hand. You have to remember that the movement is similar to milking a cow.

Actually hod to go and look into my ammo box-Uplula! I had originally one supplied by S & W but no where Near as good as the Uplula. Believe my Brother picked one up at the same Gun Shop in Il. at the same time I did. Fairly quick loading And lots easier on the old arthritic thumb(s). RIDE SAFE.
