Jerry & Sherry Sheffer

Sarasota FL

« on: June 13, 2020, 05:29:16 AM »

Sherry and I got out yesterday morning for a run to Carol’s Cafe for breakfast, glad we did. The rain down here is strong this morning so sherry says (as do our UK friends say) we will have a “lie in”.  Sherry is over the moon happy with her new to her CTX 700 DCT. I think this is an overlooked bike. It has a chiseled out narrow part on the tank by the seat and that along with the low seat height makes it so she is comfortable and flat footed at stops. The handle bars come back to her unlike the Rebel. She was surprised how fast she took to the DCT and the slight peg forward is a massive hit with her and surprising what she talks up the most.  Now I have slipped out on the bike a couple of times and I am impressed how it fits me as well. I would totally recommend one of these bikes to someone who wants a bike in the 700cc range!   cooldude cooldude cooldude   Sorry about the huge pics. Scroll over.

Glad she likes it, it’s always better on that perfect fit bike. That’s how i feel on the valk. Makes you want to get out more. Enjoy and hope to see y’all soon.

That has to feel good when you finally get the "right" bike.

Also agree on the Valk. I have had a ton of different bikes so far but none feel as comfortable for me to ride as my phat gurl. Not looking for a replacement you understand!
