I was expecting a story on Biden. This was way, way better. Nice find. Only thing I would have done different would have been to give old Grandad a stogie while on the bike. Thanks for posting that

Absolutely beautiful story. Fun to see how he lit up when he saw the bike and later when sitting on it while running.

Great piece of work on several fronts.
1st to find the bike
2nd to find and trust an overseas restorer
3rd to have it imported
4th to do a high quality video of the presentation of the machine
This is probably equal parts passion and money coming together to form a great family heirloom.

This story has a number of cliche themes. Time stands still for no man: go out and live your life as you need to, as you want to, as you have to. You only get one life, do the best with it as you can. We never know when our final day will come. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=t0YwbAmCwz8“Hope I die before I get old” “Money can’t buy happiness” well it certainly did in this instance. This mans hard work in his life paid off to bring a final time of happiness to his father and some joy to his siblings after losing their mother. Money may not buy love or happiness but sure can ease some pain along the way. It is by no means the end all be all of life but it certainly helps make life go ‘round a little easier. It’s a very nice thing this family did for their father. Touching story that brings a little joy to their lives. The old man seems like he was a pretty funny guy in his day, liked to goof around a bit. Good for all of them.

great story, everytime I see an 80s honda magna for sale on craigslist where there is a near identical one of mine my first bike ever in 1989 for sale craiglist now, I wonder where my 1984 is nowadays? Is it dead or still alive and kicking? The one on craigslist wants 2300 bucks for it NO way would I pay that much I sold it for 1500 in 1998. One would think today would be worth 1 grand or so? I actually shed a tear when that bike left the stable being my first bike ever of mine being road worthy. The old suzuki 1970 something 100cc or so does not count was an old dirt bike worth 100 bucks way back in 1980 or so.
