Thats a good looking tire and I love the exhaust however I don't think those turned down like that would make it out of the valley road I live on much less hittin' the twisties like The Dragon , The Devils Triangle,The Snake etc. I had a buddy with 38 inch straight cut and he destoryed them in the curves ( mostly down-hill tight curves he would drag with the pipes  Undecided  ) . I've run the Cooper Zeon 2XS ( rated 280 ) on my bikes for years but thought I'd try something new and went with the Fuzion ZRi ( rated 320 ) on my last one and when its rear tire time for the others I'll be mounting a Fuzion ZRi on them as well.
What size is the Hankook ?
What is it rated ?
Is it a directional ?

Picture below is the Fuzion ZRi I'm really diggin' this tire and love the way it hangs in the twisties.

You could take the weights OFF if you use Dyna Beads !!!

Thats a K-106 Hankook. Thats what I run and crazyhorse does to I beleive. Its kinda round so I rarely know its a car tire. Directional? It only mounts one way so I guess it is.  Undecided

I looked it up and it does'nt say its a directional pattern so I'm guessing its not  ???

The Hankook K106 is a new high performance radial designed for serious driving excitement. The radical v-shaped tread pattern efficiently disperses water without compromising speed or handling. * High Performance * H, V Rated * UTQG: 340/A/A * 35/40/45/50/55 Series * 16, 17, 18 Inch * VSB: Vertical Serrated Band

42 psi might wear the center out . I did that to the first Cooper I put on.

I've had a Hankook like that for 3 years now.  Still looks and handles great although I never balanced it or any other tire on my bike.  I run 40 psi.

I put dyna beads in my tires last spring, pulled off the lead weights, and noticed a difference immediately!  I experienced an incredibly smooth vibration free ride!

Although, from what I remember the manufacture doesn't recommend dyna beads for cars, but does for car tires on motor cycles?!?!  Or am I reading that incorrectly?

The only thing I could possibly dislike about them is that you can’t plug your tire if you get a nail in it, you have to get a patch put in on the inside.

it is the k-106. right now when i took it off it looks to have really even wear. the reason i run 42 psi is i ride double 95% of the time. anything lower than that i could feel the side wall buckle a little when it hit a bump on a curve. threw a swerve if you will.
as far as the cornering for the pipes, ever been to Harrison Arkansas? 110 miles, 662 curves. found it last year and scraped footpegs several times but never the turn downs. the picture makes them look wider than they really are. they fit well under the bags. they only time i scraped them was when i went around a corner and found out i went through a gallon of motor oil left on the road by a CAR DRIVER. the sun was behind me and camo'd it. it hit the bag rails about the same time as the pipes.   p.s. if you talk to my wif about them make sure you say "THROATY", if they were loud i couldn't have cut my pigs.!!!! Evil

42 psi huh? I'm at 38 and get that same feeling in curves, esp 2-up loaded. I 'accidently' put in 50-52 psi in SD. Talk about the best handeling and ride ever! Did this for 300 miles. It flew down the road. I really like this tire so far. Only took a few miles to get use to it.
