Hey Ya'll... cooldude

Just FINALLY got me bike back from the shop.  Due to the pandemic, it took over a week to get the new tires.  I decided to try Pirelli Angel GTs.  Nothing wrong with the Michelins...but I wanted to try a different GT front tire that wasn't a trail tire.  Just got off a 20mile or so ride with the new tires.  I like them.  Very smooth and agile like the Michelins...but what I like way more is that the front tire isn't as  pointy and actually 'looks' like it is almost the correct tire size (wider).  The bars now require more normal input to execute a turn...unlike the Trail tire which new would always seem to be slightly too light... Took her up to 100mph...nice and smooth, extremely solid.

They also are good looking tires... We shall see how they last.  I will takes some pictures and post them later.

BTW...do you still have to use some kind of 3rd party app to upload images??

Third party app for photos.

You have always been the tire tester, that is your official designation. So if they pass muster let us know.

I may pick them but you verify, that's how it works.

Come on get with the program.  Wink

I also put on the Angel GT II's. Finally got about 60 miles on them today, two-up.

Wow. That front tire is phychic! Gotta be less than half the input force to start a turn, then none to hold it. Ounces of pressure on the bar is all it takes now. The mechanic at the shop advised me that it would turn just by thinking about it. How right he was.

Seems smoother, too. That might just be my imagination because I don't ride with a passenger very often, but the ride seemed mellower, even though the steering was much more sensitive.

My two cents. Looking forward to more time in the saddle.
