In fact, a little looking around makes me think the author, Michael Shellenberger, is probably pretty credible. The whole website, https://environmentalprogress.org/ , seems very interesting to me. -Mike |

Great article. I love his opening list countering all they myths we constantly hear, like wildfires that aren't increasing, but actually declining. BTW, Glenn Beck read it on his show this morning.
As honest environmentalists see how much damage the radical fringe of the movement is doing, hopefully more will stand up and speak out. A few already have, like Patrick Moore and Bjorn Lomborg.

This kind of censorship should concern even the leftists who post on this board. It doesn't matter if you have a rock solid 'progressive' record. Just step out of line once, and the movement won't hesitate to destroy you.
Michael Shellenberger was an extremely dedicated environmentalist and climate activist. But he dared to challenge some sacred cows of the environmentalist religion. Now they want to make him an 'unperson'. Michael Moore, a darling of the left for years, got the same treatment about a month ago. He produced the documentary 'Planet of the Humans' which exposed the massive, taxpayer funded, Big Green industry. After 12 days it was removed from YouTube.
