I'll miss the Pontiac and Olds but I've never had a Saab and I can say without a doubt I've never even rode in a Saab.More sad news for folks that depended on this brand for a living the factory workers in Sweden and all the folks that worked in the dealerships in America ( 3,400 worldwide ) .

We joke about Harley-Davidson motorcycles having the ability to turn gasoline into noise.  Looks like GM has the ability to turn car manufacturers into smoke.

This is too bad....Saab made a pretty darn good automobile. I have driven my neighbors 2.0T turbo and it has incredible acceleration.  This GM transformation of the Saab sort of reminds me of the Chrysler transformation of the AMC Jeep....neither were able to continue the legacy of their previous owners.
