Down a few rabbit holes today

Found this one. First I was watching HD, and the amount of lead they gave them, seemed like 2-3 sec.
So I thought I would search Valkyrie, and this one came up.

as with most races like this, most of the time with similar bikes, the guy who gets the hole shot wins or one that can launch quicker/better. I had a guy on a HD sportster beat me off the line me sleeping and took awhile to overtake him.
It does seem the Valk in that video though down the stretch was extending the lead every so slightly thru the 1/4 mile race. I would imagine I would be in that 13.00 second range and mid to upper 90 mph range but doubt I could break by much the 13 second mark would take someone more skilled than me to get in that 12.80 range or so. I would hope I could beat that Vtwin alongside the Valk in that video running almost 14 seconds and 94 mph.

I don't consider myself a great rider, I would be afraid of breaking the rear tire loose on the launch. But I would suppose I would need to practice before doing something like that. Practice, and practice and more practice.
