Does anyone have the name of a site that handles damaged bikes, I'd like to start looking around for a possible Valkyrie project but not going to pay the price of a good running bike. I know some of those are in the upper $3k range but not for me. I'm looking in the low to under $2k range....preferably under $2k. Either that or buy a Roadsmith kit and trike out my current ride. I know that day for me is coming so trying to look ahead.

John, Readytofix.com is a salvage site. It shows they have several thousand bikes. I did not "registar" so I could not see what was available. The opening page has some cars/trucks/bikes.

Do you know a dealer who has had one on the floor-used-far too long and might be willing to negotiate? Or a private seller who has zero idea what he actually has? Can't recall the actual name of the outfit but was a cycle salvage yard in Az. that had some damaged Valkyries year or three back seems like. How bout that place in Oh.? If Ross or I can think of something we'll call ya! RIDE SAFE.

Got my used VTX master cylinder from these guys on Ebay. Very prompt, good quality, and reasonable.

Hey Casey, how's Lesa doing? Keeping you in line I hope...big job, poor gal!  2funny Sure miss all of you down yonder. Re. Facebood, didn't really want to join up again after cancelling my account but might have to so as to keep in touch with other members. Wonder if I can use my former password: 60yearoldhooker. For some reason my daughters didn't find it nearly as amusing as I did.  Roll Eyes

Might give it another shot, just hated all the crap they have on that fool site....most of which I had no need and got fed up plowing through all of it.

John,
Sure hope if you end up with a Trike you are able to Trike that Beautiful bike of yours. I’ve always admired your work on that bike.

Letgo is a pretty good site. Found this one on there for 3 grand.
Guy said nobody even inquired about it for a couple months.
Buddies talked him into getting a Harley.

Here's one in Atlanta:

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/mcy/d/atlanta-1997-valkyrie/7139530956.html

There are a couple of red flags.

But, I'll bet that $1500 will buy it.

I'm betting that $3000 will buy this one:

https://lakeland.craigslist.org/mcy/d/sebring-honda-valkyrie-interstate/7151012236.html

The guy says that he either needs to sell it or he needs a divorce lawyer.

I'd look at it myself, but then I'd need a divorce lawyer.  Evil

Here's a Tourer in your neck of the woods:

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/mcy/d/saint-paul-honda-valkyrie-tourer-price/7152419544.html

$3000 should buy it, and if you're going to Trike it, you can get at least $800 back out of the bags.
