        It's called HISTORY.  coolsmiley Something I doubt seriously they bother teaching in school anymore. And judging by some cashiers dumbfounded looks when I cover the change readout on their side of the register I also doubt they teach math anymore in school. Our Flag of The United States of America means a LOT to me personally-seen Our Flag drape the coffins or urns of American Service Men and Woman who Served Honorably and Proudly. As Evan Stated-took a Lot to get to where we are at today. Please-lets NOT flush it all away. RIDE SAFE.

Per the article ;

"A Public Works employee with the City of Kingman spent part of Wednesday afternoon cleaning up racist graffiti sprayed at separate locations in an alley downtown. The messages spray painted onto the pavement used the “N-word” to communicate that African Americans are not welcome in Kingman."

Me and my Valk at Freedom Rock

Speaking of Hometown flags, though not the same subject, this is a photo of the Avenue of Flags in Holstein Iowa.

The town is right along US Hwy 20 in NW Iowa and US 59 jct. They had them up over the fourth and are still up as I write this. On the far right of the photo you can see US 20. They are only put up 4-5 times a year. Memorial day, Veterans Day, the 4th of July, and Labor day. May be a couple other days too. Sometimes for special occasions. One of the original guys that worked on the project passed away. He was a Navy man. They set up the flags and I was the RC for the PGR for his mission and we did the escort through the Avenue of Flags. That was a while ago.

In the Picture you can see the large flag and at the bottom what looks like a rock with a flag painted on it. It is a rock with a flag painted on it. A big rock. If you heard of the Freedom Rock outside Greenfield Iowa, Ray Sorensen, the artist has a project to put a painted rock in each Iowa county. 99 of them. If you are riding through Iowa it is a great thing to go out and find the rocks and see the art work. https://www.thefreedomrock.com/
