Out to ride the Black Canyon with Cheryl today and saw a couple bikes at the Blue Mesa dam.  Was going to head on up 92 but then I saw the chrome valve covers sticking out in all their majestic glory and had to stop.

It was the one and only world famous Valker and his son Valker Jr.!  It's always good to see these old beasts out and about and talk with those who love to ride them.

Seth,

It's certainly been my experience: "You meet the nicest people of a Honda..." And, in some of the nicest places!

Yes you do!

They're definitely getting in the father and son (s)miles!

I just got a call from a good friend in Salt Lake City.  He's coming up on his ST1300 with a buddy of his who rides a VTX1800 and I've also ridden with before.  He was just getting used to the VTX (his first bike) when we last met, and is bringing his son who is a newbie rider  this time.  Not sure if the son will be straddling a Honda or not.

Anyway, FWIW, my lifetime bud it's a radiologist/MRI tech who travels across the Southwest.  His 76 year old mother has moved in with him, and he sure takes the C-19 seriously.  Says he's never been so stressed in his life!  He gets home from work, removes his clothes in closed room that are tossed straight to the laundry, showers and wears a mask at home around his mother.  He it's constantly sanitizing household objects and washing/sanitizing his hands.

Anyway, they're going to camp out.  I'm planning  to meet up for some riding, but he said we won't be doing any hugging or handshaking.  I will be able to deal with that this year.
