It must be a policy change. Shows masks are not about safety. I went  to Lowes yesterday and just about every associate had their mask over their mouth but not their nose. A couple had their noses covered and some were even worse with only the chin covered. But they  were all wearing a mask. Lol

I can only assume the thinking is to block droplet from leaving the mouth during talking. However most masks once positioned improperly do little good for the wearer or the other people. It’s silliness at that  point.

Stay home if you are sick and don’t let others breathe on you. Don’t touch things others use if you don’t have to and wash your hands when you do

They are ordered to wear them as a condition of employment. 

So they do, but wear them sloppily in protest (with an uncovered nose for easier, less moist breathing while working). 

It's the same in all the big stores I have entered up here.

They mostly do seem interested in maintaining distance though.

But the cashiers who have to face people and touch things all day all appear more fastidious about it.
