It isn't if they would fit and work, it's if they would give you any useful light.
There has been a lot of talk, I would research and see what's already been recommended.
If you don't get enough information, try the goldwingdocs web site on the GL1500 and see what they are using.
The H4 bulb needs 2 tabs broken off (? if I'm right).

If you have a standard or tourer I would recommend you get ahold of Josh here on the forum and get one of his adapters and get a Daymaker headlight. You wont be sorry. Initial price is a bit high but well worth it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AYBeSuxmk8I

Why did I think he wrote IS? Maybe because when I clicked on the link it came up as for an IS model? The suggestion on the tabs is for the IS model.
Yes, the daymakers from our VRCC supporter/supplier, for the single head light of the std/tourer models.

If you don’t want to spend $260 for a day maker, then get a sylvania silver star from Wal Mart. The effective light output because of the reflector shape. The LEDs don’t send light from the same point as conventional bulbs.
PS: I have josh’s daymakers in all 3 of my front lights (Cobra Lightbar).

Got mine for $99 not $260.

Are you installing an led bulb or a led headlight unit? You linked an led bulb in the original post while Josh's thing is a led headlight (daymaker).

If the headlight Iposted you will need Josh’s adapter to make it fit the bucket.

Got me,too! Anyhow, y'all probably already know this, but if you ARE running twin H4 LED's in an I/S, they only work right ( for me! ) with the stainless H4 Bulb Alignment Shims to compensate for the two tabs you gotta break off. Costs $13/pr. from Electrical Connection: https://electricalconnection.com/index.php/product/h4-bulb-alignment-shims/Got no connection with them except everything I've bought has been top-notch.

So the second question is ..... is the OP's bike an I/S or a Tourer-Standard? Please enlighten.

Just FyI you dont need to break off those tabs. Just take a pair of needle nose pliers and bend them down just enough to let them slide into place and they will help hold the bulb while you put the retaining spring back in place.

Good to know,Bighead!
And I didn't intend to sidetrack the thread by reference to the I/S.
