I'm going to run some fuel cleaners through my bike but I was curious if I can add it and just continue with short trips around town? or is something I need to run the whole thank through right away? Anyone have any experience with this?

I've been doing that my whole life. Never had a problem. The soaking probably helps loosen the goop.

If, by short trips, you mean short, but enough to fully warm it up - say more than 5 miles - you're good. If the oil doesn't get hot enough, water of combustion, and acids that come with it, builds up in the oil, which is not good, so you need to throw in the occasional ten or more mile trip, to boil it out.

I have often dumped a whole can of Seafoam in and let it sit.
