It was yummy indeed, thank you for helping make it happen! Not quite as high as the pecan pie table (NOT PEE CAN!!!) but we can't complain, did quite well!!!

If you make it the way the Conchs make it (not what's made for tourists), all you'll need is a good anode and cathode and it would start your car.

Eddie from the Wharf on Summerland Key gave me his award winning recipe for both his pie and conch chowder about 15 yrs ago. Our friend Jerry used them when he was in culinary school for a contest and won. Both are really good, and, really simple. And, yep, the pie will light you right up.

Those damn pecan pies are expensive!  (Of course it helps if you don't bid agin yo sef). We had our pie won at $160, and then our table bid it up to $650.  What the heck, it was for a good cause.
