my valkyrie 160,000 miles i had my dan fuel valve in for so long well it has been sitting for a few years 23 years and counting yrs i owned the beast
i had the bike running again with not to much work i was just going to check air filter wow not dirty at all
so i got some plugs put them on and the tank i know everything works but now won't start
is there a way the dan valve can be checked i already check to make sure it is getting fire (off & on)
no gas fumes at al it would seem after 20 ++ yrs i woul know my bike

Petcock and Dan Marc. Open the bottom of a carb, the drain plug, and try your valves again.

Does the Dan Marc have a fuse?

i got the tank off i will check the screen in there to make sure all is well .  i was thinking maybe blow air
through the gas line to see if allows air through dan off with the key on . i did check my all me fuses

RED FLAG with that inline filter. Inline filters are Highly recommended to Not be used. Our Phatt Ladies are Gravity feed on the fuel. Good Luck. RIDE SAFE.

you can check to see if you are getting fuel to the carbs by opening the bowl drain screws, bottom of the carbs facing the outside, fuel should come out the drain that comes off the bowl, the drains face rearward on the left bank and forward on the right.  The one on the left rear is clearly visible at the bottom of the float bowl and can be easily reached with a slotted screw driver, the others are in the same relative positions on the other carbs.

You can use a manual  Pingle with an in line fuel filter. I have for over 100k miles.  80 to 90 mph on interstates and will NOT starve for fuel because the Pingle has such a high flow.
