I'm looking to put some highway pegs on my valkyrie but it seems if you would mount them on the side like traditional pegs your leg will touch the motor. Anybody have any recommendations? Much appreciated.

Always wear socks and long pants. I went to ankle socks, less wear/tear on my calves, but the pant leg rides up just enough to expose my ankle, and those valve covers are hot. I ride the tips of the pegs to move away.

I have the linked Kuryakin pegs, and they are very adjustable to suit your leg length. But, gordonv is correct - even with long pants, I sometimes bump the valve covers. Keeps me alert! crazy2

I am a big fan of Mick-O-Pegs.

I also have Kuryakin pegs on my Interstate, but rarely use them.

I love my Kurys but had to modify the mounts in my case.  I use those highway pegs most every time I ride--wouldn't trade them for anything similar I've seen on Valks.

Never had a problem hitting the store engine with my leg and I use the kury pegs.

I have Kury pegs and like them. I always wear long socks when I ride so I have never had a heat problem. I also always wear boats hence the long socks.
