So my saddlebags are finally coming this week and I need to figure out how to relocate my rear turn signals. Anyone that can suggest a quick easy fix?

Where are they now. I installed large after market bags and they don’t come near the OEM

They should be on the tag bracket on the rear fender.

These are large bags. They don’t come anywhere near the OE lights

My Jumbo Strong bags don't come anywhere near the rear turn stalks either...
You can just add lights to the back of the bags as well... I added some LED Lincoln Zephyr lights on back of the bags for more light from these folks

I've got Saddleman large Cruizin' Slants and they don't even come close to the turn signals. Most relocation brackets install on the license plate bracket.

I guess at some point the previous owner moved the lights to that back bolt that connects the saddlebags. It also appears I have a different license plate holder. I'll look into ordering the one you have. Thank you for posting the pics. I wasnt sure how to post pics or I would have posted pics of mine.

You should be able to find a decent used Valk plate/signal assembly cheaper than new parts.

Before you do, get in there and inspect the junction of the upper and lower fender halves and make sure that area (underneath) is not all rusted out.... it happens.

You might also need a short (end) wiring harness piece (those are pretty cheap, and you would want new).

If the signals have been relocated, I wonder what the fender looks like?

go to postimage.org
make an account, and UL a picture.
You click on the share, choose the Hotlink for forum, and it copies,
then paste in your post.

I created a directory to place my images that I post in forum threads, so I know not to delete them in the future. That way the posts don't loose their pictures.

Ok thanks for the tip. Lets see if I get this right. Here is a picture of the rear with the lights. I've already undone some of it but you can see how it will be in the way of the saddlebags.

that`s actually pretty cool looking. I don`t think I`ve seen that before with stock signals. Just so you know, you also have proggresive rear shocks. From the angle they look shorter than stock. And Cobra pipes.
Where in New Mexico are you located ?

Also looks like the rear fender is a one-piece unit with a fender extender....i.e., that chrome doodad mounted at the bottom in back instead of a leather one. I'm thinking you might have to do some drilling to mount and OEM type plate holder with the turn signals mounted to it. Depends on how that current plate holder and light is mounted. Bolt pattern may not match the OEM unit.

I don’t think that is a stock fender. Give us a side shot of it. The stock fender is two pieces.

There were some customized fenders that got welded together ground out and painted as one piece

Seat is off because i just finished putting the tank back on after replacing all the vaccuum hoses and caps, and also tightening the 6 top rings under the tank. Hopefully that fixes my backfiring issue, if not its a carburator job. They were pretty loose though, and one was completely off.

Appears to be a stock fender that someone has modified into a one piece unit.
Unless the overseas versions might have had a one piece but I haven’t seen one.

If that is a Valk rear fender that has been welded up and repainted, then the OE tag/signal bracket should bolt right up.  But if it is something else, who knows?  It sure looks exactly like a Valk fender (though one-piece), and (unlike a few other multi Honda motorcycle-fitting parts) I don't ever remember reading that some other fender fit the valk rear.

I may have another Valk rear tag and signal bracket in my parts bin (but with no signal units attached; you'd just move your signals to it).  If I do, you can have it for postage only.  I think it's the Valk part but not sure.

I'll dig it out and look it over after the monsoon, thunder, lightning and storm surge goes down.

Fire me a PM (or email off my profile) so I have a contact point.

The wire harness isn't too much, I think $13 and $18. 2 pieces because the fender was 2 pieces and there was a connector where it separated. I'm sure you'll have some re-wiring to do.

Is that a bolt on the chrome side grab rail, or an allan key bolt? I suspect with the one piece fender, they where about to change that rear rail bolt too. I would be interested in knowing how they mounted it, maybe a nut on the inside of the fender?

What else do you have on the bike:
chrome side covers
the spark plug cover
chrome transmission cover
custome paint
chrome rad side covers
fender chrome bottom caps (?)
Cobra light bar (?)
front fender guard

What the previous owner did looks a little cool.  If you want to maintain that approach it would be pretty easy for you to wire the rearsignals into the back of the bags you're adding.  The signals are working.  Just reroute the wiring and modify the bags to hold the lights.

+1. I was going to suggest that also. Bike looks good.
