Just went to Walmart for the first time since face coverings are required. I had a cloth mask covering my mouth and chin but not nose. I could breathe. No one said a word.

So if you are required to wear an unnecessary mask and covering just the mouth counts (and it does) why would anyone cover their nose too to limit breathing.

Now, if you think the mask is protecting you and you want to wear it, I’m good with your decision but in that case leaving the nose uncovered is just dumb.

You HAVE TO wear one in Walmart but you don’t HAVE TO wear it properly, you just have to have it on. I am not sick and I enjoy breathing. I don’t need a face covering but I chose to enter where one is required. So I met their requirements

I think the mask (worn over the mouth and nose) protects others from
me, and I don't know if I have the virus. I got a box of masks before
InZane, I wore a mask a few times there when inside the public areas
of the motel, and I wear one now to the grocery store. They require them at
my credit union, but I rarely have to go in there. When we meet
at work (only once so far since this stuff started) we wear masks.
I just got back from the little guitar store I like to go to, there were only a
few people there and no crowding and there were no masks in sight. I
sure did like being there...

That's how I wear my "China Lied" mask.  Only comments made are from people  who like it.
I want to make a mask out of cheese cloth. Just need to find colored material.

When we left Florida it was still closed and opened right after we left. It was nice to stop and have breakfast at a Cracker Barrel in Georgia. Hadn't been able to go in a restaurant for awhile.
NYS was still closed for a long time, it just opened partially recently. Pure stupidity has become the norm. To go in a restaurant here one has to wear a mask into the building until you sit down and then again when you get up to leave. Now our governor just closed bars again. Places are now being fined big bucks for customers entering unmasked. All this in a county with 3 virus deaths.
Now as I understand it, Florida is having a resurgence. I'm thinking the state may be closed again when we go back in the fall.
I guess what I'm building up to is that we can get used to almost anything if we are subjected to it long enough.

I wear my N95 masks indoor shopping as the law requires.  I think if I went in without one someone might take a hammer to me (if they even let me in).

The wife gave me a few new new ones (from her job), as mine were already old and used and the elastic straps were snapping on them.

I don't have any masks like these.  But they might smell funny.

Strange things found on the web.

why does anyone driving a car still wear their masks?  See it daily now?

WI is 'just talking' about making entire state required to wear masks in all public places inside buildings, etc.  I do not think that will fly at all.

The Governor just issued a mandatory mask requirement here in MN.  Every time I've gone up to northern MN since the Kungflu started no one up there was wearing anything, I don't think there have been more than 1 or 2 cases of it up there.  I wonder how their going to respond to the order?

Oregon is going crazy again.  Yeah we have had a increase in cases as has every state.  We in the southern portion were given the freedom of not wearing a mask everywhere and places like restaurants/gyms could open, but it was recommended to wear one when one couldn't social distance.   We could even work out in gym if there weren't over 15 folks there (where i workout usually only as 7-9 gym rats there) with out a mask.

Now we have to wear a mask full time starting tomorrow.  Will be interesting to see how it goes.

Our golf courses were closed for quite awhile, then opened for walking only. Eventually carts were allowed, one person per cart. Today the course was asking to start doubling up in the carts if OK with the golfers.  One fella [ my cousin] refused saying he was compromised because he had arthritis.
Its still surprising the number of golfers wearing masks. They drive in with masks on, walk across parking lot with them on, sign in with masks [ thats OK] then golf with them on.

exactly,  that was my point see it everyday with cars,  drivers alone with the darn masks on while driving, that is dumb...

I had to go get some milk in the store tonight and a few other things.   Store was picnsave which in WI is now requiring mask use entering store.  Young lady worker at the door asked me if I needed a mask had some in her hand.  I already had my motorcycle helmet still on (duh!) entering store right on by her and said NO thanks, I have my own mask.  I took off my helmet with no one 6 feet close to me getting a cart and put on my black bandana with white skull/bones on the front.  She gave me a shitty look I think more so taking my helmet off in the store for 5 seconds NOT masked up walking right on past her,  until I put my own skull bandana velcroed around my head on.    Just glad she did not get into a pissing match with me some young 20 year old female telling me to STOP that extra 15 feet and put mask on ASAP or it would have gotten UGLY!    I had my helmet on (modular flipped up)  and skull mask/bandana over my nose/mouth in checkout line next at Aldi's and the 3-4 year old with mom nearby me in line and kid looked VERY frightened staring at me like I was EVIL and going to hurt her.  Her mom just laughed as her young daughter coward around her leg hugging it like I was going to do something BAD to her.
