some lady just complained about me for not having my medical mask on because she has cancer. So I said, I can't catch her cancer.
And then I said so why is she only wearing a cloth mask and not a N95 or N100 mask if she is so concerned about catching something.
They moved her to another room.

Its truly amazing that to act Christ like you have to be stupid or accept false motives or ignorance. Many Christians have the spirit of truth living inside of them, it can be hard to accept false motives or belligerent attitudes, when you know the true intent. The religious can be very pious and show false humility, but they have no life and no understanding.  I think Jesus called them white washed tombs.  Grin

The medical people claim the masks are not to stop the wearer from catching something, but to suppress spraying pathogens on others.  Just sayin - I'm not preaching here.  No comment on the theology from me.

Details, man!   Was this in a clinic?  At a workplace?  Was the space under an indoor mask ordinance?  Who did the lady complain to?  Did anything come of it, i.e. were you reprimanded or docked in pay?  Why did they move her and not you?

Were you thinking the lady should just, "grow a pair?"

I'll also leave religion out of it.

the preventive medicine IV clinic I go to for the last few yrs.  at the time I was the only one there and she was at the other end of the 25ft room when she walked in.  If the place is crowded we are suppose to wear them if comfortable.  They moved her after I said I was po'd because of her complaint and that she is only wearing a cloth mask not a N95/100 mask even though she has cancer and is so concern of catching something. The medical assistants knew I was right and said so so they moved her into the side room.
Like I said been there a few yrs before any masks and people in there with cancer all of the time, everybody sitting right next to each other talking. no mask and no concerns ever.

Everyone is getting crazy about this. If masks did anything out in the public I’d be wearing one all the time. They don’t protect anyone from anything. Well maybe if you are right in someone’s face and you cough wearing a mask the mask might be a little helpful for the person getting coughed on. I say a little because if you have the virus and cough through a mask virus is leaving your body into the air. Just like if you have on underwear and jeans and you fart. Some gets out

Doctors wear masks during surgery so they can be close up for an extended time. I don’t let anyone get that close. And so many people wear ineffective masks or masks worn so poorly they are doing more harm than good.

It’s going to get worse

Good thing farts don't have spike protiens coming out of em that lodge in the upper respiratory tract, replicate and cause illness. That would be worse than their usual olfactory assault!   Wink

I think wearing briefs as a mask is every bit as effective as wearing an N-95 to keep the jewels from bouncing around. cooldude

Saw a guy recently with a homemade mask that had a message stiched across it: "worthless protection."  The rent-a-cop at the door of Menards wasn't going to let him in because of it, that argument lasted about  10 seconds. The guy simply smiled, waved him off and walked past him. The RAC said he was calling the authorities, the guy answered "OK, I'll be the plumbing section."  I put a mask on and as I walked past I told the RAC that the guy's message was right on target. He didn't like me either....which made it mutual.  uglystupid2

Walked in to get my prescription before the mask mandate, heard a little commotion coming from the pharmacy area and heard someone hyping the danger of this, very loudly. As I turn the isle it was a dr who was very impressed with himself speaking loudly. So I stop and look at him and was about 8 feet away and the end of one isles and not on the pre printed spot they give you. So he told me to get on the spot, I told him I'm 8 feet away.

He told the pharmacist to call the manager, my response, that's fine. He tried to justify the outburst by saying its for my protection, to which I said don't worry about me just protect yourself. I wished him a nice day and he left, with kind of a deflated sense of importance. The manager and assistant manager were both there and said nothing. They tried to figure out what to do.

The lady that was also waiting gave her look of disapproval.

I knew the pharmacist and he was ok just a bit bewildered but understood and at the end told me he was going to try the product I was using.
