Think we posted this on FB (Lesa is on there) a while back but not here.
This bike was found less than 5 miles from the house. Owned by a long-time local Police Offficer and a great guy. Hopefully our group will get to meet him at some point as he loves to ride. He has a wedding coming up for his daughter so some things had to go and this was one of them.
It is a 1982 Honda CB650SC and is unique in a few ways.
It is the first year of the "Nighthawk" series as they retired the "Custom" on this particular series although it remained in larger bikes.
It is the only year for 4-into-4 exhaust. The following year it is a 4-into-2.
It is the last year for the SOHC engine in this series of bike.
Chain drive.
Bike has less than 6000 miles on it and was one of the cleanest bikes we have ever looked at.
I have never heard Lesa praise a bike as much as this one. She absolutely loves it.
Starts at the touch of the button, shifts super smooth, has plenty of power and fits her like a glove.

Check out the grin!

do not know about the tastes in trucks, but the nighthawk sure is pretty.  Lady is easy on the eyes as well.    cooldude

thanks for the history lesson of the nighthawk.  I was just a touch too young at the time me getting in 1989 a used 1984 honda magna, a cool bike in itself for the time.

Been seeing used nighthawks, magna, cbx,  etc. by HONDA back in the early 80's going for outrageous pricing on craigslist recently.  Over 2K, no thanks more like 1500 tops for a 35+ year old bike
