You fellas keep saying TDS.....it seems to me that it's y'all the ones with trump Derangement Syndrome. Anyone that supports him MUST be deranged.

That statement is not at all surprising.  A common symptom of a deranged mind is supposedly seeing it in everyone else.

Great question. That seems to describe what so many here claim, that the left are deranged.

I'm curious, did you watch any of the hearing?

If so, I would be interested in your opinion of how the hearing was conducted.
How AG Barr responded to questions when he was given the opportunity?
Do you think AG Barr was given sufficient time to answer?

If the shoe was on the other foot and it was the other side of the aisle holding the hearing and it was former AG Holder trying to respond, would you feel the same way?   I don't really expect you to answer any of these questions but, ask yourself.

Rams

I did watch about half of it. I agree, I didn't like how the questioners were acting. As far as Barr answering, he isn't able to stay on topic. Most of his answers are regurgitated bullshit that just meanders away from the question asked. He immediately goes to the lies that he and the WH are flooding the media with.

He's a lying enabler, protecting the current WH occupant.

I'll ask you the same question, how would YOU feel if the parties were reversed?

And I'll always answer your questions, you're consistently reasonable.

Again,

Wow, Just WOW!!

TDS at it's finest??

If President Trump (I'll type that again just to piss you off, PRESIDENT TRUMP) is such a hatemongering, evil divise man as the media tell us every day ad infinitum why isn't it his supporters out killing cops, looting, destroying property and assaulting innocent bystanders???

That makes absolutely no sense.

Why yes, yes it does make perfect sense.

It was  not a question.  The Rules of the Road preclude my using the noun of address that comes to mind.

Incidentally I do not see that many here (personal attacks?) claim the the left are deranged.  I only see that some refer to TDS when completely illogical and unsupported claims are made against the duly elected president of the United States.  I too, don't like the term derangement (insanity) is included in the syndrome name as the carriers of the ailment seem to be driven by hatred and immune to logic.  I suppose one could say that it appears that hatred has driven them to insanity but I don't like the jump.

You, baldo, are obviously in the group described by TDS.  I don't honestly think you are completely insane but you are obviously unmoved by logic or facts in regard to the president of the United States.

Baldo there is one problem here, you said he is an enabler and liar and wanders off topic, the only problem is he never got to answer any questions.

Let me see if I got this right.  Someone, who is a member of this board, is so well connected with the United States Government that they know that the current United States Attorney General is a liar.

I had no idea.

In defense of our leftist brethren, I could tell Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder were not only liars, but pure evil during their time in office, so there's that...

First, being a registered Democrat, I'm embarrassed at how this hearing was conducted but, had the roles have been reversed, I can honestly say I'd be pissed.   The committee was obviously not there to get questions answered.   This hearing was all about the up coming election.

It's your opinion on the lying enabler.   The questions were not really questions either.   While I have never been a fan of our President, he's done more to strengthen this country than most of the men that have held that office the last 30 + years.

What the Dem leadership don't like is that AG Barr is digging into things they don't want dug into.   They are throwing up a lot of distractors to bolster their liberal base.

Answer me this, if all these anti-police protests/riots and attacks on federal buildings were going on during the Obama Administration, do you think President Obama would let our federal buildings be destroyed.   I didn't like most of what President Obama did but, I don't believe he would have allowed it either and would have taken steps similar to President Trump if, those riots were in Republican areas.    How about President Clinton?

That hearing was nothing but an opportunity for a bunch of power hungry, lying Democrats and I'm embarrassed to even be a registered member of their party.    But, my single vote in every election is an attempt to make it better, a more conservative party.

I can understand and respect someone who just can't bring themselves to vote for President Trump.

At this point, I can not understand nor respect anyone who would actually vote for the Democratic candidate.....

Serk, please post the details of any elected official who actually endorsed taking away anyones guns or not protecting borders. I am pretty liberal, have a license to carry and have had a background check. I have been trained in their use and care. I accept that I am responsible for every round that I discharge. I wouldn't vote for a candidate who ran on a platform to take away firearms. I do support background checks but  do not support the sales of fully automatic firearms to the general public. Three weeks ago I heard a loud noise in my home, got up to investigate, found nothing and went back to bed. My wife called me the next day and told me that there was a bullet on the living room floor. From the picture she sent me, it looked like 45. It came through the shingles, a piece of 5 ply plywood and then my drywall ceiling. Twenty feet from my daughters bed. Yes, bad guys get guns yada yada yada, but background checks will help a little. By the way, Obama was in office for two terms and I still have my guns, how about you?

But you can vote for and respect these people. Essentially what you are saying is most on this board you no longer respect or understand. It begs the question then why are you here?

Good question.

Could be to just agitate?
Or the TDS is so bad they cannot control themselves?

You are correct in that I do not understand your political views, but do not mistake a difference of opinion for lack of respect. Not sure how you make that leap. I may not like some of your opinions, you may not like some of mine, but that does not mean that I do not respect you. You are, or should be, more than just the sum of your politics.

Any other point I would 100% agree with you. It used to be that the left and the right in this country wanted to go to the same destination, they just disagreed on the best means of getting there.

We have diverged to the point that we no longer want to go to the same place.

As much as I hope Mr. Head opens his eyes to the reality of what's being done to this country before it's too late, regardless if he does or not, the very first line of the "Rules of the Road" state:

"The VRCC Bulletin Board is a forum for everyone that owns or is interested in the "Cruiser of the Decade", the Honda Valkyrie."

So, yeah..... he still meets that criteria, IMHO...

My comment has been revised. It was parroting your comment, meant to be sarcastic in response to yours. It's not really how I feel. Reflecting on it since last night has made me think about how I would feel about someone voting for Trump. I have many friends who will likely vote for Trump. While it baffles me, it does not make me lose respect for them. There have been a few members here lately stating, in essence, disrespect for me. It likely got under my skin and I responded in kind. I will try to toughen up my skin.

And you have shown disrespect to a few members on here including me and my brother.  I've been called a racist, stupid, ignorant and a "hayseed" by my own cousin from NJ just because I dared to vote for Donald Trump. So if you disrespect me I will return the favor..

I did. I also apologized for my words. (Just to be clear, I never called you any of those things, or anybody else here)

Yes you did apologize. But you need to know something. Although I forgive what you said, I will never forget it. (Just to be clear. You said "you're not sure which one of us is dumber" referring to my brother and I ). So unless your using the Biden campaigns definition of English you did call us stupid.

I learned a valuable lesson in my 60’s, I can’t pinpoint the exact time but it changed my life for the better. Basically it’s the forgive and forget mantra that we all have heard. No matter the circumstances, whether you have been insulted, cheated, character attacked or otherwise maligned, once you accept the imperfect nature of human beings and your own shortcomings you just lay all that down and the weight you carry around will just drift away.

I had a series of disagreements with a close family member and we didn’t talk for over 10 years. I avoided being in the same room and when we were, we didn’t speak. A series of events ultimately transpired that lead to him approaching me and thank me with a hug and a light bulb came on. All my anger that was under the surface and was a load I had carried for no positive outcome and I realized he had not suffered near as much as I was the one carrying the weight all this time.

Naturally I still have memories of perceived injustice but they don’t affect my relationship with him. That’s as close to forgetting as one can come maybe and it’s good enough for me. I can actually say I hold no grudges or ill will for another person and that’s a great feeling.

So, does that mean that all is forgiven and you're gonna come visit me some time?  I promise not to make fun of you for letting that Valkyrie sit for years gathering dust.  Wink

While I suppose one can forgive stupidity (not their fault, not capable) and ignorance (sometimes curable, sometimes fatal) both coupled with incurable vindictiveness probably will not be improved by any level of forgiveness.

Their failure to understand the damage being done is not excusable, forgivable, or in anyway acceptable for any reason.

May them and their supporters live to see and understand their mistakes and reap their 'rewards'.Love

Although with their level  of intellect perhaps that is asking for the impossible?

Are you out of the trailer and into you’re mansion? Nothing would suit me better. I was visiting my son and my newly minted granddaughter today and missed a contact from Bigbf about stopping by to work on my Valkyrie! tickedoff I’ll try to touch base with him tomorrow to see where he is.

We made contact by email. He is going to come back my way. This may the the year I get back on the bike since, according to my license plate, 2014. When I got back in my Corvette a few weeks ago after having it in storage for 9 months, it felt like the first time. I can only imagine what the feeling will be to feel some wind after 6 years.

That time you’re driving in Virginia and the Attorney General spots a group of people in front of a police precinct showing their support for the police.

AG to FBI Detail: “Can we make a quick U-Turn? I want to jump out and thank those people.”

The more I see of AG Barr the more I like, although he pretty much had my support as soon as I saw this:
