Screw all those ho-hum clones above!
No kids anymore??

New Ford Bronco !!

Lol, already tried! Do not know what I would have done if she said yes.  crazy2
The van is still in good shape. I get it it, after 15yrs she's ready. Really no need for it. I suggested keeping it for winter / crummy weather driving. Choose a convertible for nice weather. Being one of the reasons I married her, she said no  smitten, not $$$ wise. True except that at this point we have a little spare $$$ to "play" with. Certainly anything we buy will not be brand new.

We passed on the Buick Envision, gut feeling said no. Looking at a couple Edges today. The search goes on. I've always made it a point to never be in a hurry to buy. We've had pretty good results over the years with our buying process. I will admit I am predisposed to purchasing a Honda or Toyota. Over the years we have had very good luck with those nameplates. The Odyssey and our daughter's '05 CRV(225k), son's 2000 Toyota Avalon w/152k on it as will. I purchased in Sept. '19 a 2wd Tacoma w/91k.

maybe not in your area of stealerships, but around me a used 1-2 year old vehicle with say 30K miles on them at stealers are almost the price of a new one.  I attempted to buy used at most 2 years old and all dealers would not budge off their asking price on the window.  I told all of them now why would anyone be that stupid to pay 22K for this when I can get one brand new for near 22K after rebates/discounts?  To save 2-3K used vs. new when it already has 30K miles factory warranty ends at 36K EXCEPT Hyundai/Kia is pointless to do.  When I offered something realistic like 19K they all said no.

Well, she found one!
Wife purchased a 2017 Ford Edge Titanium w/26k miles, this past Saturday. Was a little bit of a drive but, it made for a nice Saturday afternoon. She likes it, she found it and in the exact color and features she wanted. When we bought her Odyssey 11 years ago it was 3 years old with 22k miles on it. I felt good about the purchase because it was an Odyssey. I must admit buying the Ford is a bit out of my comfort zone. Combined with all the gadgetry makes me a bit nervous. Time will tell. Thanks for all the input!
