I don't like taking too many bugs through the input ports because they sometimes come shootin' out the exit ports, wounded but fighting (biting?) mad.  

I slapped in some screen to keep the majority out.  As far as aesthetics, it a stainless screen.  I've seen some pictures of Interstates with better looking, chrome diamond pattern mesh.  Almost looks like a chrome grille mesh but it's a tighter "weave" pattern that should keep most bugs out.  I can't tell if it's pliable like screen or hard pvc plastic.

Anyone know what it is or where it can be found?

Many have used the gutter leaf screen which you can get at Home Depot or Lowes. There were several pics from members yesterday on the Southern Valkyrie Riders FB page.
