Another case of do as we say, not as we do, for we know better than you.

Not to mention,Georgia is on DC's quarantine travel list. So are all the politicians that went to the funeral going to self quarantine for two weeks?

yah, but the priviledge white folks such as Bill Clinton who was at the funeral was social distancing along with several others blacks and whites on the 'VIP' side of the seating areas.

I guess Black lives do NOT matter when it comes to social distancing at funerals even?

I did not get that either since clearly there was plenty of room to social distance 6 feet apart from everyone else in the several back rows that were empty.   uglystupid2

Well, of course. D politico's can do as they please, but, we shall obey.

Our police are defunded, but, their personal security increases at our expense.

They can get haircuts and do anything they please. Isn't that the way its supposed to work.

Just to throw a cat in the room, I don't know who J Lewis is (didn't look it up).

But from the picture, masks where warn by everyone I could see portions of their face.

Masks are warn when distance can't happen.

As for the other comments, I didn't look/confirm about the VIPs. 50 people? Maybe.

The rest, I agree.

I'm one who doesn't wear a mask. Unless I'm not moving, and the others are wearing, I do carry one, in case I need it (to get into the store, and I don't go anywhere unless I have too). You can't get a virus by walking by someone, or keeping distance or talking for a short time, unless they cough or sneeze.

The church was almost at capacity. The issue is many places either church service have not resumed or cut to a minimum of a percent of normal capacity. I know many places have yet to allow funeral services and if they are permitted it’s for a bare minimum of attendees.

It sure would be interesting if there was a massive increase in C-19 cases among those attending the various memorial services for him.

John R Lewis was Congressman from GA (?) who got involved with the Civil Rights era when Dr Martin Luthor King Jr  was heading it up. Most notable for being one of those who attempted to cross the bridge into Selma from Montgomery. And was also known for the expression "Good Trouble". Wikipedia probably has more about him.

agree half capacity if that at best.   they had room to spread them all out but yes they all wore masks.  Bill Clinton in first one on the left side in the front and bet most of them are big shots all 6 feet apart as they should be there anyways.

With the exception of the choir section the main section of the church is pretty full imo.

You can see Bill Clinton in that photo?

5 rows back, left section. If I remember correctly, Laura Bush was up front left, just out of the pic. "W" was speaking in this pic.

I need to get back on a computer instead of just using an iPad all the time. I can’t make out any faces.

Agree....check out the center of the picture above and it shows a "monitor screen" that certainly appears to be "O"

Yah,  I got a 17 inch laptop  15.6 inch would have done but was hard to find one with a DVD/CD drive in that size.  You get use to the sizing after awhile is large but my kid and younger folks like the smaller 14 inch sizing for portability vs. me staying at home on my recliner 99% of the time like the larger screen size.  Amazes me my old  12+ year old HP laptop 17 inch is twice as thick and 2x's heavier than the thin one I got now.   The old one has also 2x's as many side ports for stuff I have never used ever.  Sure hope my new laptop paid around 400 for it lasts me another 12 years or so but doubt it since nothing made to last that long anymore.  I had Windows Vista operarting system on my old laptop but still works just keys falliing off, etc.
