Hey all,

While at Gig and Lulu's Yooper ride we met a couple riders that hung out with us a few nights,  Tim Salter and Ron Grover.   Nice Guys.  Anyway, when we invited them to our August 16th picnic, Tim graciously offered to roast a 200 lb pig for the event.  Now I don't think the MI members alone could polish off a 200 lb pig, so we are opening up the event for any members and friends to participate.  Here is a copy of the post from the MIVRCC Facebook page:

This is a Private group so you have to request membership to join.

UPDATE: This event has been upgraded from a picnic to a pig roast.

MI chapter get together/picnic Sunday Aug 16, 2020, around noonish.

Some of the Rogue Riders thought it was high time we all got together, so we thought a picnic was in order. Romeo reserved a pavilion at Pleasant Lake Campground for Sunday Aug 16.

Pleasant Lake Campground

I will be making a pot of beans for all to share. You should plan to bring whatever you want to throw on the grill and your beverage of choice. We will supply the charcoal. We will also be collecting to cover the $75 Fee to rent the pavilion. There is a lake for swimming so bring a swim suit as well.

This is open to all members of this group, and any friends you'd like to bring. I hope to see some of our newer members there, as well as the usual suspects.

Thanks and I hope to see you all there.

There are camp sites available at the park, and motels available about 20 miles away in Jackson.

I cannot stress strongly enough for anyone in the area to try to attend this event.  There is no planned ride, but the food and whopper telling will be first rate.  Please attend if you can.

As the unofficial official chapter leader of The RogueRiders I would like to reiterate what the man with the head of skin said. C’mon back up to the mitten on the 16 th and share some food with us all. 200 lbs of pig goes a long way.

Hey Joe--I just made reservations at the camp ground.  Just wanted to confirm this was still "On" for the weekend.  It will be Justin and me.  We are "a campin."
