A 20 year old seaman First Class was aboard the U S S Oklahoma on 7 December 1941. He was one of 429 men aboard who were killed when the Oklahoma was torpedoed in Pearl Harbor that fateful day. He and many others we buried in a common military cemetery. Fast forward to September 2019 and his remains are identified. Fast forward to today 5 August 2020. The P G R Combat Vets American Legion Riders V F W Riders our local L E Os and Local V F D and Ambulance Service and Missouri Highway Patrol were all in attendance today. We escorted his remains to Chapel Hill Cemetery in Mountain View Missouri. I would estimate between 80 and 100 M/Cs were part of the escort today. P G R rules prevent me from naming this Hero but a perusal of the Main P G R website with missions in Willow Springs Mo. should have his name there. I Know a lot of the Riders there today and we all felt it to be An Honor to escort this Hero Finally to his Final Resting Place. R I P Sir.  angel RIDE SAFE.

I am always amazed how modern science finds out who a person is (was).

I have a good friend from HS,now in Pittsburgh, who developed the testing algorithm used to identify remains from little more than dust.
Never was able to best him in math or science no matter how hard I studied.  And his younger brother
is even quicker,

He testifies in Courts around the country and has helped with the Towers etc
