Exactly, it would have been better to say I'm going to pick the best person for the job/country, irrespective of their race, gender, etc. Why limit the candidate pool. Of course we all know that it stems from the failed belief that more and different racism will correct the damage done by previous racism.  |

Can't be AOC, she's not old enough. Absolutely correct - a person must be at least 35 years of age (on Inaugaration Day) to be eligible for President / Vice President. Although there aren't too many people that young I'd WANT to be President.... |

There's 4 ways spelled out in the COnstitution on how to change itself. Only the first 2 have been used successfully. But yes - it would probably take a minimum of 1 year to get an amendment through all 50 states, probably much longer...

It's a pretty big deal for a politician (or anyone) to get the nod to run as someone's VP. And she would not turn it down. But I bet she's getting the full Twilight Zone/Through the Looking Glass feeling about working for old Uncle Joe. And the occasional friendly butt slap is the least of it.
