So now I'm having issues with the bike starting sometimes. Sometimes it will just give a clicking sound after a couple of pushes of the button then it will start. I'm assuming something is about to go out. Sound like it may be the relay is that right? I dont know how old this battery is either so I may just buy a new one. Other than the battery and the starter button housing, anything else it could be?

As a first step, I would charge the battery overnight, then get it load tested. You need to eliminate the battery first.

If you have a multimeter, measure the volts (battery) at the very moment you press in the start button. Voltage shouldn't drop below 9.5 volts.

It could also be the starter button contacts. Go to shop talk and find the starter button maintenance.

check battery. ICM needs a minimum of 10.5 volts when starter is turning to give a good start. might start down to 9.5 volts bit not always.

I use a jump start battery; it will take a main battery fault out of the test, so if it still behaves the same, it's not the battery. If it starts fine, time for a ride to a battery store.

ok, it doesnt happen all the time or very consistently yet. I would say about 1 out of every 5 or 6 starts. So I will start by charging the battery and measuring the voltage. Couldnt hurt to check the connections of the starter button. Thanks again everyone.

If you havent done the start button mtce yet now is a good time, shouldn't do any harm, no real cost, may solve the issue and you will know its condition.
Check out your existing battery model #, the YTX14H-BS (Yaesu #) is a high output model of the YTX14-BS and gives better cranking power if you need to replace your battery, other manufacturers offer similar high output ones.
related - as mentioned below sometimes the engine will crank but not start because of low voltage, one thing I have noticed is that when cranking the engine the bike will start at the instant you release the start button, not sure if you get a voltage surge when you stop cranking or not.
