Got the old 23 yr old gal (no not a girl friend that would be wishful thinking Undecided) out today and took her for a spin. Ashamed to say that I have not had time to ride this year but a couple of times and they were short rides. So I backed the bee out of the garage and turned the 23 yr old petcock from off to on let it sit for a minute or two then thrned the key and she fired off perfect then she started to stumble fart and balk. But after about a 2 minute warm up she started purring like a kitty cat getting its chin scratched. So I swung the leg across and the wife got on behind and off we went. Left home on a two lane and it remained that way all day except for about ten miles through Fayetteville TN. Rode to Lynchburg TN (the home of Jack Daniels) stopped and had a bite if BBQ (anyone who has never been here Lynchburg has a population of 400-500 downtown is a courthouse whith little shops on all 4 sides of the square. The Harley riders love to ride there and fill up the parking around the square week day or week end no matter)then while eating I look over towards the bee which is parked on the courthouse side of the square to see 6 people walk around the streetglides, roadglides and ultra classics to check out the Dragon. I told the wife I said look over there she said yep she draws a crowd.  One guy was taking pictures and another was pointing at the engine and all the chrome. I chuckled but felt good about it. Then we left and took some twisties and made our way back to the Casa only rode about 175 miles but seemed perfect. I know no pics it didn’t happen.  I didnt take any but it did happen. Will be taking off sunday or monday for a 5 day ride  hope to meet up with some of the East Tennessee wild bunch for supper and a brew.
