After another P G R Mission today I Needed a chuckle!
Seeing the Peanuts Gang brought back some fond memories. The Ships Store on USS Yorktown CVS 10 carried a Lot of Peanuts books and conseqhently I Bought a Lot of Peanuts books. Handy on the flight deck or after a launch and before a recovery or sittin in the chow hall readin Peanuts did NOT make the "food" any better but Peanuts made it easier to deal with the chow being served. Also took 1 or 2 with me when I flew as the however long it took to git on station along with the however long it took to git off station and back on the carrier seemed at times endless. Peanuts made That time slip away Much Faster. So Thank You Charles Schulz for some of my all time favorite cartoon characters.
C S made my end of the Nam War a bit easier on me and others. Would that I had kept those books!
