Have you tried adjusting the handlebars to make your hands higher?

Some experts say that the back of your forearm should follow a flat line into the back of your hand to stop numbness, tingling  and other physical problems experienced whilst riding.

It seems to me the best way to get numbness and tingling in your hands and arms is to put on 14-18" ape hangers.   Grin

Though if you are tall, mini-apes might be workable.  Even with taller risers.  Look at some Z-bars.

I'm 5'9", so I'd probably have to stand up on my floor boards all day to ride around with 18" apes.

Tall apes will make the bike feel much heavier when pulling off the sidestand. I've ridden a Valk with tall apes, went for about 25 miles before I had to quit. Riding with my hands that high, essentially at or above eye level was tiring for both arms and hands and a very uncomfortable riding position overall. It also prevents you from kicking back and relaxing on a long ride with the feet in the highway pegs. I like to lean back against the backrest, feet on the pegs, set the cruise and roll on with my hands just dangling on the ends of the grips. Can't do it with tall apes.

Just mounted these 500 mi. ago. This is the second time I've used these and they have been the most comfortable for me. They put my wrist at the right angle. The 1st. time I used them to replace 1100 Spirit "Buckhorns". No cable revision needed.
