anything for a quick buck.   Even if it was true,  I think would be hard to prove?

Just like age discrimination.  I have been victim of that a couple times in my life and one even had a super good case on, but no way to prove it.  Not like the 3 managers involved in that one case would admit to anything being jerkoffs.   I did get all 3 fired though shortly after quitting by listing 13 incidents in 1 month there with HR and mgmt. that happened mostly to me and a few others working there.   Young punks in charge very rude, arrogant, cocky and if had my way,  all 3 would be 6 feet under.  Walking out after 1 month and reporting them to the company was better than being in jail for they all 3 would be not walking around now.

I had a friend who filed an age discrimination case.  He had a strong case and won a settlement.  However, even though the attorney represented him for a contingency fee, he still had to pay some significant costs like hiring expert witnesses.  In the end the settlement barely covered his costs.

Then it got worse.  He couldn't find a job for years.  Apparently whenever he interviewed, his case showed up in a database when the HR guys ran a background check.  Employers must not like to hire a guy with a history of suing employers.  Imagine that!
