I climbed on my brand new 03 Valk and hit the starter button for the first
time!! What a rush!!!! Rode it home in snow flurries and 36* weather. Loved
that motersickle. Never had a bad time on it....except for that whole "bouncing
off of a Monte Carlo" thing. Cry Now I have a 98 that is still a great ride, but it's
just not "mine" because I'm the third owner. Still love it, don't plan on gettin'
rid of it anytime soon, but there's no feeling like ridin' a brand new Valkyrie
from the dealer to your driveway! cooldude

Must have been a great experience, that "new" Valkyrie.  Unfortunately, one most of us will never know. Sad

Close to my date! I took delivery of my brand new left-over '98 Valkyrie 9 years ago Wednesday... 12/23/2000...

Looking back through these pictures, I dunno who's changed more in these last 9 years, me or my Valk, but I've still got her, still ride her and still loving 'er! Went for a ride with my daughter today even...

*sigh*... Wouldn't trade the last 9 years of 2 wheeled bliss for anything... Hopefully she keeps going, still loving that bike!

Congrats to you!

I know how you feel Bob. Bought my 97 brand new in 99 (it was a demo had 800 miles on it). Nothing feels like being the first owner of a new Vehicle. I bought my 05 GMC Siera Truck new as well. The driver took it off the truck. I drove it into the shop. Prepped it,had it cleaned and took it home that day. It had 8 miles on it.
