We rolled out this morning with the temps at 25 degree's . Took the backroads all day and the temp's warmed up to near 50 today with nothing but sunshine.Made a few stops along the way the first in Oak Ridge , Tennesssee near the K-25 plant (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-25 ) . At its peak it took 25,000 workers to build and employed 12,000 folks after it was completed at a cost of 512 million if built today it would cost 6 billion . This is where the nuclear bombs was made that we dropped on Japan to end World War 2 .The building is under demolition right now with clean-up it could keep folks working for years at the start it was known only as the Manhattan Project (
