Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been nominated to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which made many sports lovers seethe with rage. They were furthered angered by the fact that a USA Today columnist supported the nomination for the induction.
I really dont have anything to say about this.

-RP A absolutely love this idea. Not that it could happen. The confusion and look on the faces of the kneelers would be priceless, and almost enough to make me watch a game again. Almost.

Whether he ever plays in the NFL again or not, Colin Kaepernick’s name will go down in sports history.
“He’s gotten a raw deal for so long,” Bob Birkett of Vermont told USA TODAY Sports. “It’s a little bit like [Muhammad Ali refusing to serve in Vietnam]. The initial reaction was, 'Holy cow what a horrible thing.’ Then a little while later, it’s like, 'Man, that guy had some guts.'"
So Birkett took advantage of a little-known rule that allows any Tom, Dick and Harry — or Bob — to nominate any eligible players, coaches or contributors. But there's another rule that says a player and coach must have been retired at least five years before they can be considered. Kaepernick, who last played in the league in 2017, still has a couple years to go, and he's technically still a free agent. Of course, no teams have moved to sign him even after NFL.com reported renewed interest in the quarterback around June, as protests in the wake of George Floyd’s killing brought renewed interest in Kaepernicks’ stand on civil rights. Kaepernick can't even be considered until he's out of the league for five years. He's still a free agent. I suppose that if he announces his retirement the last three years could be considered out of the league but, as long as he's a free agent, I'm thinking not. Then again, I don't get a vote. Rams

I'm sure when he was stopped for speeding (or anything) the cops realized he was raised by white middle class folks. Or when he was out shopping. Or when he was at the bar. Or when.....oh never mind.

I remember one football player once saying "playing in the NFL was like being a slave". I don't think there were to many slaves making millions. Bottom line is in most cases if you're pulled over by a cop and are a complete ass you're going to get attitude back. If you're cool and say yes sir,no sir chances are you might get a ticket but not get attitude from the cop. I've been pulled over many times over the years and never once gave a cop attitude. Did I still get tickets I deserved? Sure but I got out of few too. I obviously don't know what's it's like to "drive while black" but I have seen many videos of black drivers saying the same thing I just did. If you give attitude to a cop you're going to get it back.

If you give attitude to a cop you're going to get it back. It's amazing how you can extrapolate all that from what I wrote. I never said he was oppressed. I never said anything about his attitude. I never said I knew what it was like to be black. What I did say is; when Kaepernick was not at his home with white parents, cops see him as a black man. I'm sure he knows a little of what it's like to be black, regardless of what Bighead (or anyone else) thinks.
