I used to watch The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and absolutely loved it.
Now, there are times I can't get to sleep so, I'll tune it in after the evening news.

What a waste of time, I'll leave it with that opinion.

I know few will care about this but, his opening remarks/dialog (IMHO) are actually offensive.

Edited:  If you gonna vote, would it be too much to ask to post something?

I have never been interested in the late night shows.
Honestly, I don't watch a lot of television.  I do, however, spend way too much time watching Youtube videos.
And reading.

Jimmy Fallon (and Conan O'Brien) suck.  I don't like them.  (There's more)

That has never been The Tonight Show, just because they gave it the name.

I've been watching old Johnny Carson reruns on Antenna TV for a long time, but it looks like they dropped it now.  Bummer.

Carson was funny these guys not so much. Colbert I think is the worst. I watch a lot of CBS shows so I see Colbert's teasers all the time. They are rairly funny and almost always bashing Trump.

Thanks Carl, I was wondering who would do that first.   2funny

Reference The Tonight Show, Leno had slipped my mind.   I enjoy his tenure on it also.

The political bashing I see on that show now is so one sided that I can only take it so long, I keep hoping it will stop but, I know it won't.   So, I guess I'll have to start watching HGTV or golf to help put me to sleep on those restless nights.   Embarrassed

I watched Carson and Leno. I've seen enough clips of Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel to know not to bother. I thought it was a generation thing then Trump came along. Carson and Leno poked fun at the then current President but it was funny.

At 1 time or another I did attempt to watch the newbies when they first came on. They ALL left a vomit taste in my mouth. I have Grit and Movies-lotsa film noir there-M E T V and others. Even with All the commercials I'd rather watch that then ANY of the late night talk show hosts. And I watch VERY Carefully when I switch to a channel that is a daytime talk show. Do NOT Even wanna catch a Glimpse of those raving idiots on daytime talk shows. After all-my blood pressure meds only go so far!  2funny RIDE SAFE.

LOVED the show when Johnny Carson was the host. Still enjoyed it with Jay Leno, but completely lost interest after that.

Loved Carson and to a lesser extent Lenno but really enjoy Lenno now with his car shows. The new stuff, boorish and political. Not my cup of tea at all but I also understand I am no longer in the target audience.

One thing my wife got me into during all this Covid stuff is netflix and we have watched some really good series that we have enjoyed very much.

Longmire - Current day lawman in the west drama.

Justified - Current day Federal Marshal drama based in KY.

Rescue Me - FDNY drama loosely based around 911.

I used to watch the View - until this election cycle began. They are so blatently biased I can't stand to watch them about anything political anymore. I feel much the same about most media. Media should REPORT the news - not express their bias.

I don't think I've ever watched Fallon. But, I did watch James Corden the other night. It was pretty funny. Johnny Carson was the king, but David Letterman wasn't far behind him. One of the most brilliant bits was "Stupid Human Tricks".

I'm honestly surprised, somebody has to be watching this show (you wouldn't think they'd keep it on air if no one was watching), but according to this poll, that's not happening.   The answer might be that bikers don't have the time or interest in watching crap on TV.

I’m with Dave, I watch Netflix almost exclusively at night. The wife and I find a series we both like so we can watch together. We are now on the third season of Arrow, based on a DC Comics series. Not something I would normally go for but so much better than regular network tv.

For context, I don’t pay for the Netflix streaming service. My son is providing me with the service because we have his sons here so much and they hate Fox News! In defense of Netflix they have some extremely good educational programming for kids. My grandsons love one show called Number Blocks and they have been able to count, add, and subtract since they turned 4 years old. They also like watching Alpha Blocks which is the alphabet and spelling and they both are doing well with spelling and writing words. Of course, as with most outlets, there is a lot of mindless viewing available so you have to monitor what they see.
